Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and the Lord and Savior of all humanity and how very blessed we are when we realize that the deepest longings of our hearts and souls are a longing for Him, even if we are not aware of Him. And how He can bless us when we come to Him!
THE NEED: "Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His discIples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.'" Matthew 9:35-38
THE RESPONSE: "For we do not preach ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.' " 2 Corinthians 4:5-6.
