God is our Creator, our Redeemer, and our Sustainer, and the hearts and souls of every human being longs for Him, even if our minds are not aware of tis fact. How blesseed is the day when we come to know Him personally and begin to build a relationship, a life, with Him.
Yet all too often, in our busy and responsibility-filled lives in this very noisy world, we either lose our ability to hear His voice when He quietly speaks to us, or we spend less and less time with Him in prayer and praise and study, and our happiness and peace diminish and our closeness to Him ceases to grow. Yet our dear Lord can offer us such security and confidence and inspiration on a daily basis if we but commit ourselves to putting Him first in our lives and ever focusing on Him.
"This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel says, 'In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is our strength..." Isaiah 30:15
